The Coins of the Danish Kings of Ireland, Bernard Roth, Plate VI. (reprinted from TheBritish Numismatic Journal Vol. VI, 1910 as Hiberno-Danish Coins). Notice how 140 and 141 say "Sihtric Re Difl" or Sihtric, King of Dublin.

A typical later Sihtric of Dublin (King of Dublin 989-1029; i.e. Sitric III) coin (Plate II, 26). The obverse says SIHTRCRE DYFLM and the reverse says STE NGM ODYF LINR.
