Welcome to Colonial's Place

Welcome to Colonial's Humble Homepage!

You are probably asking yourself, "Who is this Colonial fellow?" Well, here is the Reader's Digest Condensed Version:
I am a soon-to-be 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and the Class of 2000 graduate of the . I will be receiving my JD in May 2003, with not particular specialty, and earned my B.A. in international affairs, with a concentration in international politics and a minor in German. At the moment, I am working on my final semester, trying to arrange for graduation, pass the bar exam, find a job, and help arrange wedding plans. My girlfriend, TigerGoal, accepted the system upgrade to fiance on April 6, and we're both really excited about that! I haven't had much time to update my homepages, so I promise to add more details about the love of my life, TigerGoal, very soon.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, reading, cooking, baking, bicycling and working with computers. After working at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University for three years, I developed an interest in education and the legal issues facing the education profession. For a while, I had considered going into teaching, but decided that a JD will provide more flexibity and career opportunities.

Family and Friends

I have two married parents, BearNEV and MamaBear. They celebrated their silver anniversary last year, so we threw them a big party. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a scanner right now, so no new pictures have been uploaded for quite a while. Both work at Penn State, and are happy with their current jobs.

My younger brother (not my "little" brother because he's grown up a lot), ArticWolf, is a sophomore in high school now. He likes acting, and hopes to make it big someday. In the meantime, he wants to study forensic psychology at West Virginia University. Both he and BearNEV are in Boy Scouts.

Both sets of my grandparents live close to my parents. I refer to them as "M-M B" and "Pappy G", and "M-M I" and "Pappy I". All four of them, especially M-M I and Pappy I, are really excited that I am about to graduate. MM and Pappy I have been very supportive in getting me through school. Follow this link for my Grandparents. And if you would like to learn about some of my friends, this is where to look.

Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you take the time to drop me a line and say "Hi!"
